Rolart Creations is the studio of Rolande Fabien, an acrylic painter working in New Jersey. She sells her work directly, without a gallery in between. These terms cover anything bought through rolartcreations.com.
Two different things are sold here, and they work differently.
Originals are one-of-a-kind paintings on canvas. There is exactly one of each. When an original sells it is marked sold on the site immediately and cannot be ordered again. Small variations in color between a photograph and the physical canvas are normal — screens and paint do not match exactly.
Prints are reproductions made to order. They are priced by the longest side of the piece.
All prices are in US dollars. Print prices are set by size:

Original paintings are priced individually and shown on each piece's page. Prices can change, but never after you have placed an order.
Local pickup is free. Choose pickup at checkout and Rolande will contact you to arrange a time and place in New Jersey.
Shipping is a flat rate by size, charged on the largest piece in your order:

Orders ship within the continental United States. For anywhere else, including Alaska, Hawaii, and outside the US, write to her first and she will quote the shipping before you order.
Orders are usually dispatched within three to five business days. An original that needs custom packing can take longer, and she will tell you if that is the case.
If a piece arrives and it is not right for you, write to [email protected] and say so.
Refunds go back to the original payment method once the piece is back and has been checked.
Photograph the packaging and the piece before unpacking any further, and send the photographs within 48 hours of delivery. A damaged print is replaced. A damaged original cannot be replaced — there is only one — so it is refunded in full, including what you paid for shipping.
Rolande takes two commissions a month so each piece gets the time it needs. The process:
If you cancel after work has started, the deposit covers the time and materials already spent and is not refunded. If Rolande cannot complete the piece, the deposit is returned in full.
Card payments are handled by a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Rolart Creations never sees or stores your full card number. Your order is confirmed once that processor confirms the payment.
Buying a painting or a print gives you the physical piece. Rolande Fabien keeps the copyright in the image. You are welcome to photograph your piece and share it. Reproducing it for sale, or using it commercially, needs her written permission.
